B. Refreshed Essence Lotion

IMG_0701

I suppose disappearing from the blogging world for 5 months has its benefits as I now have lots more holy grail products to rave about, and today’s skincare review is certainly no exception! My skin can be a bit of a pain as it never quite knows if it’s dry or oily, and during the run up to our wedding it was definitely more on the dry side. Thankfully I had ordered in a couple of bottles of the B. Refreshed Essence Lotion after reading rave reviews, as it really has become a staple in my routine.

I’m not going to lie, I don’t know very much about essence lotions. I’d heard about their wonderful hydrating properties from other bloggers and decided to give this budget friendly lotion from Superdrug a go, and now it’s safe to say that my skincare routine wouldn’t be complete without an essence lotion. I tend to put a little bit of this lotion on a cotton pad and sweep over my face after my evening cleanse, and before applying my serum/moisturiser. I’ve seen such a difference in the condition of my skin since I started using this lotion, with no more dry patches on my forehead or around my chin in sight.

Some may find adding the extra step of a toner or essence lotion a bit of a faff, but to me that extra little bit of effort makes all the difference. If you also suffer from dry skin then you need to give this product a go, trust me!

  • I’ve been hearing so much about essence’s too, I can’t find that many in stores I feel like. I have to give this lotion a try, hopefully it helps with some of my dry patches.

Great review, thanks! I bought this a few months ago and have been using it every now and then – it feels lovely but not like it’s doing anything. If it’s working for you though I’ll make an effort to use it regularly and see if I get any results 🙂 xox

  • This sounds really great – I don’t know much about essence lotions but I’m willing to try this one out now!
