While I was perusing the Boxing Day sales I decided to place on order on Beauty Bay for a couple of new brushes as I just love the selection of brush brands available on there! I’m already a fan of Zoeva brushes so another one was a no brainer, and I was so excited to pop a Morphe brush in my basket as it was my first taste of the brand, despite hearing so many great things in the last few months.
Zoeva 110 Face Shape Brush – I wanted to invest in a new brush for contouring, especially as I had a new bronzer in my life, and I thought I couldn’t go wrong with Zoeva! The 110 is small, round and the perfect size for applying along my (pretty non-existent) cheekbones so it’s a winner in my eyes. It’s dense but still super soft on the skin and does a lovely job of applying just enough powder to give my cheekbones definition without leaving me looking like a clown. This brush can also be used to blend liquid products and although I haven’t tried it myself, I’ve heard that it does a fab job of that too!
Morphe M158 Angle Liner Spoolie Brush – I instantly added one of these to my basket as I’ve been in need of a thinner, more precise brush for applying my brow powder. This thin yet dense brush definitely makes applying both brow powder and wax much easier than the Real Techniques brush I was using before, and it also has a handy spoolie on the other end. While I’ll primarily be using the brush for my brows, the option is always there if I want to give gel liner another go (I always found it difficult with the brushes I had). Want to know the best thing? This brush is only £2.95. Yes, you’d better go and order one right now!
